About Huppé

Durability, integrity, and handmade excellence are the defining cornerstones of Huppé. Founded in 1967, this Canadian company has been renowned throughout North America for over 50 years, and crafts high quality furniture with premium materials and sustainably-focused processes. From living room and dining room sets to bedroom and office pieces, Huppé produces beautiful, heirloom quality collections that are intentionally built to last for generations. Each of their timeless pieces undergoes approximately 20 meticulous production stages to ensure expert hand craftsmanship, and innovative contemporary design. All Huppé furniture also meets exact standards of customer preferences, from hand-cut fabrics and wood sanding, to hand-staining and infrared heat to improve the longevity of dried finishes.

Huppé is constantly expanding their company’s sustainability efforts too, by reducing greenhouse gasses by 104.5 tons per year, and partnering with Trees For Canada to help plant millions of trees annually in both urban and rural communities. Their leading-edge heat recovery and air exchange system also enables them to convert heat from their own stain and varnish chambers into heating for the factory itself, which reduces their natural gas consumption by 75%. Finally, by donating $4 to plant a new tree for every Huppé bed sold, this workshop partner strives to create environmental change as meaningful and long-lasting as the beautiful furniture they craft.
