Our products are made from solid natural wood. All solid wood ages in color over time. Particularly cherry wood will first look a light pinkish-brown tone and will age to a deep reddish-brown. This is not a defect in the wood and is, in fact, part of its natural beauty. As such, we cannot accept returns or cancellations due to variations in natural wood tones. The business’s dedication to sustainability and eco-friendly manufacturing practices has not gone unnoticed. Copeland Furniture has received several awards including the Sage Award for Environmental Excellence, a distinction given to furniture manufacturers that promote environmental stewardship.
Copeland Furniture is also GREENGUARD Certified thanks to the use of low chemical emission varnishes on all their products. The GREENGUARD certification verifies Copeland products are safe indoors and won’t emit toxic chemicals in your home.
Copeland is continually looking for new ways to decrease their carbon footprint and create a healthier, more sustainable world for future generations. They have worked to reduce packaging waste, enacted recycling programs, and even heat their factory using wooden scraps instead of oil or gas.
