Cattaneo Studios x Copeland Furniture
We had to start with one of our absolute favorite bedrooms, designed by Morgan Cattaneo. Featured in one of our blog posts from 2018 (time flies!) Morgan is an interior designer based in New Orleans and worked with Copeland Furniture to bring together this modern and masculine room. She chose the Contour Bed and Eight Drawer Dresser because of their versatility and the ability to customize each piece - she added the optional shelf nightstands to each side of the bed and chose custom drawer pulls for the dresser to tie it in with the rest of the room. We love the look of the sleek, clean lines in the dark Walnut furniture with the soft, light colored designs found in the artwork and the area rug. Design tip: Don’t be afraid of contrast! As we can see here, the combination of contrasting colors and forms come together to create an absolutely stunning bedroom. Click here to check out Copeland’s Contour Collection for yourself!
A Natural Haven
This natural light-filled room is the definition of dreamy. The Fulton Canopy Bed is a perfect centerpiece for this open space, as it demands attention without blocking any of the warm light from the rear windows. Even with it’s crisp lines, piling on plush bedding will give this bed a cozy and inviting look. The Fulton Magazine Night Stand on the left of the room features two roomy drawers, a hidden coin tray, and a magazine shelf for bedside storage. To the right of the room, the Fulton Dresser is paired with the Fulton Landscape Rectangular Mirror to add depth to the room and to create a practical dressing area. Design Tip: Modern does not have to mean cold. Even though every piece in this collection has an modern and angular silhouette, the light color of the wood mixed with tons of natural light and plush bedding keep this room feeling as cozy as ever. The Fulton Collection from West Bros is made from solid White Oak and is shown here in the Sand finish.
The Skyline Sanctuary
This Bedroom mixes modern and traditional styles to create a calm and relaxing haven. The dark, cool finish on the Sunbury Platform Bed from Gat Creek stands out in the space, as well as ties together the blue and neutral tones of the room. The polished nickel pulls on the Tomlin Three Drawer Nightstand and Six Drawer Dresser add a touch of classic elegance and look absolutely stunning with the light fixtures. Although the pieces in the room are from different collections, the simple profiles complement each other very nicely. One great feature of Gat Creek’s furniture is that every piece is offered with the same large selection of finishes, so it’s easy to mix and match. Design Tip: Mixing and matching furniture styles in your bedroom is a great way to add interest and depth to the space - just make sure to stick within a certain color palette. The Sunbury Bed is pictured here in Ash with a Shoreline finish, and the Tomlin case pieces are pictured in the Lamb’s Wool Hand Glazed Paint. A Cozy Oasis
We love tufted upholstery pieces! The O’Hara Bed from Cisco Brothers gives this room a refined feel and adds an extra plush layer behind the curated throw pillows. This bedroom combines neutral colored upholstery pieces with natural wood accents to create the perfect bedroom oasis. A splash of green from the plants on the nightstand and by the window complement the neutral color scheme. The great thing about upholstery pieces, especially from Cisco Brothers, is that you can easily create whatever color scheme you want! With Cisco’s endless fabric and leather options, you can create a space with your favorite color palette without buying new case pieces or painting a single wall. Design Tip: Adding a bed with a tufted headboard into the mix will instantly give your space a sophisticated and cozy feel. Combine with other tufted upholstery pieces to create a truly spectacular bedroom. Check out the Colin Chair and the Arden Ottoman if you love tufted upholstery as much as we do! Simple and Chic
The popular saying “less is more” really comes into play in this simple, stylish bedroom. The Laurel Bed from Environment takes center stage in a lovely pink velvet upholstery, while the area rug adds texture to the dark colored floors. The teardrop pendants on either side of the bed are a trendy alternative to a traditional bedside lamp or wall mounted sconce, and also allow full use of the nightstand surfaces. The modest nightstands complement the design of the bed and provide some (though we admit, not a lot) bedside storage. Design Tip: If you want your bedroom to be a place for you to unwind after a stressful day, a minimalist design will help you to be free of distractions and clutter. Use an area rug from Loloi to add texture and color to your bedroom, and see our entire collection from Environment by clicking here.
